AWS is hiring for a Warehouse Check-In Clerk / Customer Service (Hybrid Role) Pay: $19.50 per hour Schedule:Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, Friday , Saturday Hours: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Location: San Jose,CA Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Check-In Clerk to support daily warehouse operations while also assisting with customer service responsibilities. This hybrid role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and strong communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in both a warehouse and office environment. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Duties: • Check in incoming drivers and verify shipment documentation • Inspect and confirm quantities against bills of lading and packing slips • Accurately enter receiving data into warehouse systems • Communicate with warehouse staff regarding inbound shipments • Maintain organized records of incoming and outgoing loads Customer Service Duties: • Answer phone calls and emails regarding shipment and delivery updates • Provide accurate order status and inventory information • Resolve basic customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary • Maintain professional communication with clients and carriers Qualifications • Previous warehouse receiving or check-in experience preferred • Customer service experience required • Basic computer and data entry skills • Strong attention to detail and organization • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Occasional lifting up to 30-40 lbs • Comfortable working in a warehouse setting
