Description: The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all duties assigned from the Warehouse Supervisor. They will also be responsible for day to day operations of the warehouse in the absence of the lead. These responsibilities will include but are not limited to inventory control, receiving, material handling, and other duties determined by management.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Receiving.
  2. Delivering/Loading material for spread table and other departments.
  3. Organize warehouse.
  4. Load / unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
  5. Cover duties of warehouse lead in his or her absence.
  6. Other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  1. Good computer skills- ERP experience a plus.
  2. Must be able to read and use a ruler.
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong organizational skills.
  5. Proactive work habits.
  6. Forklift experience required.

Physical demands;

  1. Ability to communicate orally with others, (subordinates, management).
  2. Regular use of telephone and e-mail for company communication is essential.
  3. Standing on hard surface, moving between production and warehouse.
  4. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing/warehouse floor.
  5. Able to perform basic mathematic calculations.
  6. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, copiers, calculators, and FAX machines.
  7. Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of warehouse problems.
  8. Consistent lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing/warehouse setting. Activities will include both sitting and standing. These activities will occur in both the warehouse and production areas. Although the position is indoors there will be varying temperatures between warehouse and production areas. The temperature in the warehouse is not controlled.
