POSITION OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Associate II role is responsible for facility and distribution activities such as: building maintenance, grounds maintenance, packaging, material movement, shipping, receiving, inventory physical count, customer product delivery, and light manufacturing machinery use.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform WWMS tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Organizing routes and making daily deliveries (site specific).
  • Place material in inventory location bins as needed or instructed.
  • Usage of warehouse equipment like ladders, pallet jacks, hand trucks, platform trucks, forklifts, personnel lifts and packaging machinery.
  • Rotating material as needed or instructed.
  • Picking material in effort to satisfy order fulfillment requirements.
  • Shipment of small parcel or LTL related shipments.
  • Physically unloading & receiving of small parcel, LTL or FCL (20 ft. or 40 ft.) shipments with or without an accommodation.
  • Building and ground maintenance as needed or instructed.
  • Executes physical counts (Cycle Counts) of material on a recurring basis and per the instruction of the Warehouse Team Lead.
  • Performs customer product delivery (local) 3-days per week and works in the warehouse 2-days.
  • Packaging & labeling of shipments and materials.
  • All other duties, as assigned.



Requirements:

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • ERP, Transportation Management or Shipping Software experience (preferred).

Experience

  • Previous distribution and/or warehouse related experience (quired).

Knowledge & Skills

  • Forklift Certification (preferred).
  • Valid driver/operator license (required).
  • Must be insurable (required).
  • Ability to consistently lift 60 lbs. from floor to chest level with or without an accommodation.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and work in a warehouse for long periods of time without sitting.
  • Comfortable and familiar with computers, technology and/or electronic equipment (required).
