FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Earliest Start Date: Immediately

Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until Aug 31, 2026

Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS

Duties and Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited to:

  • -80C freezer preventative maintenance
  • Flushing eye wash stations
  • Washing and autoclaving dishes
  • Monitoring and replacing desiccant
  • Submitting biological and chemical waste, sharps, and broken glass for proper disposal
  • Maintaining written and electronic records
  • Maintaining inventory lists
  • Restocking consumables
  • This is not a research position

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to use office machines (computer, printer etc.)
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • Work independently
  • Follow detailed instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months experience supporting a research laboratory
  • Salary Range $15.00 per hour

Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions
  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
  • May work around chemicals
  • Use of manual dexterity
