The Small Business Credit Risk Officer will support the credit policy and strategy analytics team in development, implementation, and management of credit risk strategies and policies. This role includes assessing internal and external data sources for inclusion into policies and lending platform along with model-based decisioning to meet Citi’s risk appetite through multiple delivery channels. This role requires prior commercial lending strategy experience and a deep level of understanding of statistics, data, modeling, and analytical tools to creatively support the responsible growth of the small business portfolio. Collaborative and project management skills are desirable as the responsibilities are broad and multi-faceted. This role will liaise with all aspects of Small Business stakeholders including Sales, Product, Modeling, Credit Operations, Independent Risk, Legal, Compliance, and others to execute and monitor our strategies.
Responsibilities Developing, testing, and optimizing credit policies including full accountability for implementation of those policies & processes. Manage risk levels for the entire credit spectrum across multiple products and retail formats consistent with program financial objectives. Apply an excellent working knowledge of risk analytics which include scoring and segmentation techniques and their use. Tracking and reporting of initiatives and reporting performance results, emerging trends and opportunities to senior management on a timely basis. Developing and maintaining the data infrastructure to support initiatives. Research customer and/or management queries using risk systems and data Support ad-hoc risk policy analysis and projects as required Ensure regulatory compliance Knowledge of Citibank credit policies and practices and regulatory policies, to assist unit in achieving compliance with the above and satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors. Qualifications: 6-10 years of experience in credit risk management in the financial services industry performing quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and implementation of credit scoring and non-scoring models Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, or other quantitative field. Advanced Degree not required but desirable in Economics, Finance, Statistics or Applied Mathematics 5+ years’ experiencewithcredit policy analytics and development, preferably on a credit cards/loans portfolio Strong Business and Data analytical skills with proven track record of complex processes and data analysis/deliverables Extensive knowledge of SAS programming including macro and SQL programming including SAS / SAS Enterprise Miner / SAS Enterprise Guide, Python libraries Ability to work under tight deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family Group: Risk Management ------------------------------------------------------ Job Family: Credit Decisions ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Primary Location: Atlanta Georgia United States ------------------------------------------------------ Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $107,120.00 - $160,680.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
