You will be a compassionate presence for both patients and their families. In this role, you will: Administer medications and chemotherapy under the supervision of an oncologist Assist with diagnostics, including lab work, imaging, and CT scans Support oncology appointments and help manage patient flow and scheduling Maintain accurate medical records , treatment notes, and drug logs Provide empathetic client communication and education Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology Deliver emotional support and patient-centered care at every stage of treatment Who We Are Looking For Licensed or credentialed veterinary technician , Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS), or experienced veterinary assistant Experience in specialty medicine and/or oncology is preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Confidence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) is a plus A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care If you're a veterinary technician eager to enhance your skills in a specialty practice, we encourage you to apply today and become a part of the bright future in emergency and critical care at PVESC.
