2025-2026 Vacancy- Intervention Specialist Craigsville Elementary SchoolReports To: Principal FLSA Status: Exempt Salary Scale: Teacher, 200 Days2025-2026 Salary Scales: https://core-docs.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/1890/ACPS/5634125/2025-2026_Salary_Scales_Informational_Packet_V1.pdfSUMMARY Coordinates Response to Instruction (RTI) activities by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Provide intervention services to students, Consult with teachers on Tier II and Tier III students, Coordinate and participate in administration of Universal Screening, Coordinate and participate in administration of diagnostic assessments, Assist teachers in coordinating progress monitoring and data collection, Coordinate and organize data collection and presentation for various meetings, Full Time Intervention Specialists serve as testing coordinator, Attend data meetings and grade level meetings as necessary, Coordinate with support staff i.e. Instructional and Pupil Services staff, as needed, Attend and provide staff development as needed, Assist in monitoring fidelity to intervention programs and to the RTI process, Serve as school TAT/504 coordinator, and Perform other duties as assigned. Three years successful teaching experience Demonstrated coaching skills; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, parents and students Has met all technology standards Certification and/or License Valid Virginia Teaching License Certified in Elementary and/or Special Education EVALUATION Performance for this job will be evaluated in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of personnel.
