Job Summary The User Experience Designer will work with cross-functional product and engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality, client-centered digital experiences across TV and mobile platforms. This role focuses on executing polished, scalable UI/UX solutions in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment, with strong emphasis on interaction design, visual craft, and motion. The position is a contract role based in Los Angeles, CA with flexible in-office hours.
Responsibilities Execute end-to-end product design for key features, from early concept and discovery through production-ready specifications. Translate business requirements, user insights, and research findings into clear interaction models and polished UI solutions. Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity visual designs, and interactive prototypes to communicate and validate design decisions. Drive high-quality visual, interaction, and motion design with strong attention to layout, hierarchy, and system consistency. Apply and contribute to established design systems to ensure scalable and cohesive experiences across platforms, including large-screen environments. Deliver detailed design specifications and assets to support efficient and accurate engineering implementation. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business partners to deliver features on schedule and with high quality. Participate in design reviews, usability discussions, and stakeholder feedback sessions to gain alignment and approvals. Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to continuous improvement of UX processes, standards, and methodologies.
Years of Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, HCI, Design, Usability, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8–10+ years of professional experience in product design, UX design, or interaction design for digital products. Experience designing for TV, large-screen, or multi-device platforms is preferred.
Skills Required Strong UI/UX design skills with proven experience delivering end-to-end product design solutions. Advanced prototyping skills, including creation of interactive, high-fidelity prototypes to validate concepts. Strong understanding and application of motion design within digital interfaces. Proficiency with Figma and modern design and prototyping tools. Proven understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices. Experience gathering, analyzing, and translating requirements from business stakeholders, SMEs, and users. Knowledge of web and client technologies such as browsers, HTML, and CSS is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.
