Immediate opening in Portland, OR for a OTR Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Driver to join us.

Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $2100 or more Weekly and it gets better "Top 10% of our drivers at this location make $120k+/yr!"

Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly

Hourly Pay: $27.00 Per Hour Base Pay Plus Additional $1 for Every 3 Certifications/Endorsements

Overtime Paid After 40 Hours

Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week

Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night

Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper

Paid Travel

Sign On Bonus: Pays you $250 at 30 days and $250 at 90 days

Tenure Bonus: Pays You $1000 each year you are with the company from Nov. 1- to Oct. 31

Paid Training

Schedule: Monday - Friday - Must be Flexible

Shift: Varies based on account

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

Deliver SOLO To: Western 11 States

Route: Regional OTR

Tractor Type: Day cab or Sleeper, Straight Truck

Trailer Type: Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed 28', 48', 53'

Equipment: Electric Pallet Jack

Flatbed 6 months Experience Required and Doubles - 3 months Experience Required

Hazmat Preferred

Able to accept automatic restrictions.

Freight: Combination of Touch and No Touch Freight

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
