About The Position Job Title: RN - OR Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. - Skills in Ortho/Spine and CV preferred. Description: This travel RN position is focused in the Operating Room. The shift is from 07:00 to 17:00. The unit has 23 ORs with a staff of 70. Typical staffing includes charge nurses, RNs, CNAs, and sitters. Patient ratios on night shifts are 1:1. The equipment used includes OR EMR and Meditech. The unit primarily handles elective surgical cases, including Ortho, Spine, General, CV, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology. Candidates with experience in elective cases and a commitment to teamwork are preferred. This setting provides a flexible work environment with no trauma cases. Candidates with the preferred skill set will be prioritized.
