**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team on a night shift schedule. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and managing the specific needs of oncology and medical-surgical patients.

**Shift Details:** - Type: Night Shift (3x12-Hour) - Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Rotating Weekends and Holidays Required

**Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including those newly diagnosed and patients at the end of life. - Manage medical-surgical patients with conditions such as diabetes management, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, cellulitis, pneumonia, abdominal pain, and foley management. - Administer medications and monitor patient responses, including telemetry interpretation and PCA pump management. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. - Float to various facilities as needed within the healthcare system.

**Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, specifically in an oncology or medical-surgical setting. - Experience with patient ratios of 4-6. - Must have EPIC charting system experience. - BLS certification required; chemo certification not required (will not administer chemo). - Must pass a mandatory EKG exam (Pass/Fail) during the compliance process.

**Compliance & Requirements:** - Candidates must complete a full compliance file by the deadline set prior to the start date. - All candidates must be willing and available for compliance requirements and have a valid nursing license in hand by submission. - Must not have any open issues on a background check. - Must be flexible with scheduling, as the facility has zero tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences.

**Additional Information:** - Daily patient census averages around 17.76 with a total of 21 beds. - The unit supports adults and geriatric patients with a wide array of diagnoses.
