Sable Corporation is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Reno, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiation Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 45 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Radiation Therapist Shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00–14:30 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Responsibilities: Deliver radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions
Perform CT simulations and verify treatment plans
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including TrueBeam systems
Follow standard practice of 2 radiation therapists per patient during treatment and simulation for enhanced safety and quality
Accurately document treatment delivery and patient records using ARIA
Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the treatment process
Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and other staff to support optimal patient outcomes
Provide support in staff training and clinical education as needed
Maintain a high level of professionalism and the ability to work independently
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program
ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy) required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a radiation therapist preferred
Proficiency in ARIA and TrueBeam systems required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Demonstrated ability to educate staff and function independently in a clinical setting
