Scheduled details: 12hr Nights; 1900-0700 3x a week 

Experience Requirements: 1 Year of recent psych experience in a hospital setting |

 The Strawberry Hill Intake RN role has three main responsibilities. First, they assess all walk-in patients, evaluating behavioral health concerns, medical and psychiatric history, and medical stability, often performing labs, UAs, and EKGs. If patients aren't admitted, they help create safety plans with personalized resources. Second, they review admissions from outside hospitals, collaborating with the call center to evaluate labs, medications, vitals, and history, and coordinate with inpatient units regarding acuity and staffing. 

Third, when patients are admitted, they complete full intake assessments, including skin checks, orders, documentation, education, and care plans.

License/ Certification Requirements: KS or Compact RN | BLS

Floating Requirements: Possibly float to psych area within the ED Weekend Requirements: Not required may be asked to work 1-2 a month

On-Call Requirements: None

Holiday Requirements: Required based on unit needs New Graduate? No
