Must have intermediate care experience. Cardiac experience required. Epic experience required. Description: This position includes 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, nights, from 7 PM to 7 AM. The unit is a hybrid PCU/Telemetry unit with a total of 28 beds. It consists of a 20-bed telemetry level of care and an 8-bed intermediate care unit. Patients span the life cycle for cardiovascular and medical/surgical needs. The primary patient population includes those with heart failure, chest pain rule outs, and post-catheterization cases, both with and without PCI. Staffing ratio is 1 to 4/5 during the day and 1 to 5/6 at night. The role may involve floating to appropriate units as needed. Nursing care may include the use of CPAP/BiPAP, antiarrhythmics, vasopressors, antihypertensives, anticoagulants, and sheath/TR band removal. All units may handle patients with COVID-19. No exemptions or declinations for vaccines are accepted. RTO must be included upfront in the submission.
