Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nursery Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/25/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Patient Types: Stabile non-vented preemies, Hyperbili, babies requiring IVABX, DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services) holds, drug affected babies Patient Ratios: 1:3, based on acuity (days and nights) Nursery RNs also take Postpartum assignments when there are no babies in the ICN. Required Certifications: RN Nursery – BLS, NRP, STABLE Skills required IV start required. IVABx for neonates. Experience in level 2 nursery, resuscitate babies, IV, managing lines, stabilization of neonates, prepare for transfers (may be ventilated while being stabilized for transfer) Level II Nursery and/or NICU that has attended deliveries as an infant nurse. The listing should also specify that the Nursery RNs also take Postpartum couplets and Gyne patients as well. Charting System/Equipment: EPIC Alaris Pyxis Floating: Could float to other units as helping hands
