Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/18/2025 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse *Sinai Hospital - 2401 W Belvedere Ave, Baltimore, MD 21215*  Position Details: Start Date: 08/18/2025 Contract Length: 14 weeks Shift: Nights (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30) Weekends: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Patient Ratio: 1:2 (acuity-based assignments) Unit Overview: 21-bed Level III NICU specializing in: Extremely Low Birth Weight (ELBW) infants Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Premature infants (24-34+ weeks gestation) Surgical neonates High-frequency ventilation and advanced respiratory support Requirements: Licensure: Active Maryland or Compact RN license (required at submission) Certifications: BLS, NRP (both required) STABLE (preferred) Experience: Minimum 2 years Level III NICU experience Experience with high-frequency ventilators, umbilical lines, and neonatal resuscitation Cerner charting experience preferred Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized care for premature and critically ill neonates Manage ventilators (including high-frequency), CPAP, and other respiratory support Administer IV medications including vasopressors and surfactants Perform developmental care and family education Assist with procedures (lumbar punctures, line placements) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
