Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry
• Discipline: RN

• Duration: 20 weeks
• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Requirements:

• 2+ years recent experience (no first-time travelers)
• Skills: Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation & management
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass EKG test before start
• Locals accepted (rate difference under 50 miles)
• No RTO after booking; any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancel/DNR
• Float to sister units required

Unit Details:

• Specialty: MedSurg/Telemetry overflow
• Beds: 35 (24-bed overflow + general med/tele)
• Ratio: 1:6–7 with CNA support (1 CNA per 12 patients)
• Telemetry monitored remotely by techs
• Common diagnoses: General adult med/surg and med/tele patients with physiologic instability, post-surgical recovery, and chronic illness management.
