Seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit on the night shift. The RN will care for patients with multiple diagnoses, including medical, surgical, pulmonary, neurological, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, renal, endocrine, and orthopedic conditions. This position requires 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

• Provide care for patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit with a focus on continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical interventions.
• Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration.
• Access and care for central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral lines.
• Assist with respiratory therapies including chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, oxygen masks, and portable oxygen tanks.
• Care for patients requiring continuous bladder irrigation and pre/post hemodialysis management.
• Manage neurological conditions such as stroke (CVA) and seizure disorders.
• Handle feeding tube care and gastrointestinal management.
• Administer medications including heparin protocols, PCA pumps, and cardiac drips (no titration).
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring.
• Practice isolation precautions and provide wound care, including wound vac management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams.

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact License required at time of submission.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (Calm Every Storm), NIHSS.
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system.
• Must be able to float within the hospital system as needed.
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions.

• Patient Ratios: 1:5 during day, night, and weekends
