Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Long Term Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/04/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Travel Long-Term Care RN – Bellaire, MI Start Date: 9/4/2025 | Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 hrs/week Weekend Requirements: As needed / Holiday rotation as needed On Call: None Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Long-Term Care RN to join a skilled nursing facility in Bellaire, MI. The RN will deliver quality nursing care, oversee staff assignments, and ensure compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities: Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
Assist physicians during treatments and examinations.
Monitor residents’ conditions, document changes, and notify supervisor/physician/family as appropriate.
Obtain and record vital signs, assess resident status, and provide interventions as needed.
Assign and coordinate duties for nursing staff to ensure resident needs are met.
Participate in resident care planning, nursing assessments, admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including narcotics accountability.
Ensure unit cleanliness, resident comfort, and compliance with Resident Rights.
Support training, orientation, and evaluation of nursing staff.
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to facility standards of care.
Requirements: 2+ years’ experience in LTC, SNF, or Med Surg setting (hospital experience not required)
Travel nursing experience – Preferred
BLS Certification – Required
Active RN license (MI or compact) – Required
