Job Description:
Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages Perform vaginal exams and assess labor progression Circulate in C-section deliveries and monitor patients recovering from spinal anesthesia Identify and respond to life-threatening maternal or fetal complications Ensure safety and proper use of patient lifting devices Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols Exhibit leadership and the ability to prioritize in emergency or high-stress situations
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: Traveler must hold CURRENT MA license. BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire. Must have NRP
