KPG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Salinas, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the populations served. This includes demonstrating knowledge of the principles of caring for the following, but not limited to, geriatric, pediatric, developmentally-challenged, special needs and physically-challenged, and various diagnoses, interventions, procedures and operations performed for patients served. **2-3 years as a nurse in the diagnostic imaging department** MUST have Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging experience. Skills: Interventional Radiology nurse and duties will include primary nursing with pre-post and intraprocedural duties with moderate sedation. Equipment used is Meditech. Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of California - Required Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards - Required Current ACLS and PALS American Heart Association standards certification - Required Open to floating within cluster/similar department: highly desirable Epic Experience Required: Minimum of 6–12 months within the past year
