LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: MICU - Medical Intensive Care UnitDiscipline: RNStart Date: 09/22/2025Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, evenings, nightsEmployment Type: TravelGeneral Medical Surgical nursing care. Skills and tasks required would be assessments, care planning, inter-professional communication, utilization of the EHR, IV pumps, wound vacs, heat/cooling pads, feeding pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, management of heparin and insulin drips, IV therapy management.Required skills and minimum years of experience.Candidate must have at least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2 or tertiary experience. Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience at a like sized facility (600+) beds.         Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)BLS, IN State or compact RN licenseShift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required?  If so, how often? Are weekends required?)  12-hour shifts, 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeksMedsurg RN's will float to areas in greatest need.
