26-week Nurse Practitioner travel assignment

Client in San Francisco & California is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to help them out for 26 weeks. This is a TIME shift position.

Qualifications/Requirements

Two years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.

Current BLS certification

Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in the relevant specialty.

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), Pushing, Pulling, Bending.

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our travel healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various specialties, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing patient health issues. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Essential Work Functions

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
