LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Brownsville, Texas.
Job Description & Requirements
* Specialty: ED - Emergency Department

* Shift: 12 hours, evenings, nights

Required -
* Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting
* Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
* Strong triage and critical thinking skills
* Trauma and cardiac alert experience, including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
* IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, wound care
* Moderate sedation for procedures such as reductions or cardioversion
* Assisting with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code response
* Care of stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patients
* Transport preparation and coordination for higher levels of care
* Triage assessment and prioritization based on ESI guidelines
* Isolation and infection control protocols
* Documentation and reassessment in fast paced environments
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS ACLS PALS TNCC ENPC CPI
