**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department (ED). This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise to provide exceptional care to patients during critical situations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Deliver patient-centered care in a dynamic ED setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality emergency care.
- Utilize critical thinking and assessment skills to manage patients in acute situations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with staff and families.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications:**

- **Experience:** Minimum of three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
- **Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- **Licensure:** Active New Jersey License or Compact License required.
- **Certifications:** Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications. Certification renewals pending within 30 days of submission will not be accepted.
- **Travel Experience:** Must have completed at least one travel assignment.
- **Additional:** High-volume/fast-paced experience preferred.

**Work Schedule:**

- Weekend shifts: Every other weekend.
- Holiday shifts: One holiday per contract as needed.
- RTO (Requested Time Off): Up to three days accepted; no block scheduling or special requests.

**Orientation Details:**

Candidates must complete a full orientation program; failure to do so may result in immediate termination. Once scheduled, candidates cannot reschedule. Orientation includes virtual meetings and modules to be completed before the start date. In-person classes will be scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday, with locations determined via HealthStream.

All candidates must complete the necessary pre-employment requirements and receive their ID badge during orientation.
