Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/02/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Start date: ASAP - 4 weeks out for compliance purposes Shift: 4x10 - 0700-1730, call team 0830-1900 Types of Cases REQ: Coronary Angio/PCI, Vascular/AAA, Peripheral, IR, Neuro, Structural Heart, EP, Pacers/ICDs Most Common Equipment: Philips, CSI, Rotablator, Shockwave, Inari, Impella, IABP, FFR, IVUS, JestStream, AngioJet, TurboHawk Years of experience REQ: 2 years Cath Lab required, EP experience preferred First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: TBD National Certs REQ: WA licensed CVT, ARRT, also BLS and ACLS required. Is on-call REQ? Yes, 6 nights a month (includes 1 weekend every 4-5 weeks) Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes Parking: Location & Cost: On Site, Free Job Summary Uses a variety of specialized equipment in assisting the physician in the performance of all invasive procedures resulting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. Essential Functions Assists physician in performing invasive procedures. May perform related radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging techniques to demonstrate catheter location, position, and document findings. Scrubs in for handling guide wires, catheter, administering contrast injections, flushing catheters, and other scrub duties as assigned per specialty. Performs pre-procedural patient care activities. Monitors and records patient's condition and procedures' progress. Retrieves and reviews patient data. Prepares and maintains sterile field. Operates and maintains clinical equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Accredited Secondary Education Program Required: Cardiovascular or Accredited Secondary Education Program Required: Radiologic Technology. PHSW Cath Lab only. Or a combination of education and experience that provides the incumbent with the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job and obtain required certification, licensure, and registration or Experience Minimum of 2 years Required: Clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required or equivalent or Required: Previous experience working in a hospital setting Credentials Required : Certification/Registration/Licensure as required by the WA State for a Radiologic Technologist and Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support and Required Standard: Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within a standard grace period from hire or transfer. Required within 6 months: National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification *PHSW Cath Lab RT(R) only and Preferred : Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Department / Location Specific Notes SWMC Cath Lab: *ARRT required. *On-call required. *NIHSS course completed within six months of hire. St. Joseph Medical Center: Washington: ARRT is required. An ARRT requires the addition of an ARRT-CV or ARRT-CI and ARRT-VI within 1 year from date of hire.
