Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a wide range of CT procedures, administering contrast, and working in fast-paced environments such as the Emergency Department and ICU. Candidates must be flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable floating between units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, and spine
  • Administer contrast media and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
  • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
  • Conduct multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and image post-processing
  • Assist in special procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and CT arthrography (preferred)
  • Support stroke protocol imaging (code stroke)
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and PACS systems
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
  • Float between units as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
  • ARRT (R) Certification (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Venipuncture Certification (Required)
  • Fluoro Permit (Preferred)
  • Experience with contrast administration and IV starts
  • Ability to work rotating weekends
  • Pending license not accepted

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Imaging Expertise:

  • Abdomen & Pelvis (with/without contrast)
  • Chest, Head & Neck imaging
  • Spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
  • Musculoskeletal trauma

Special Procedures (Preferred):

  • Biopsies, aspirations, drainages
  • Coronary CTA, brain perfusion
  • Myelography, vascular CTA

Systems & Equipment:

  • EPIC (Charting)
  • PACS
  • Siemens & Toshiba CT scanners (preferred)
