About the Opportunity
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a corporate associate to join its Transactions Practice Group in either the Jacksonville or Orlando office. This role offers hands-on experience working closely with partners and senior attorneys in a collaborative, high-performing team.
The primary focus will be mergers and acquisitions (M&A), along with supporting work in securities, corporate governance, commercial agreements, and general corporate matters.
This is a standout opportunity for an early-career attorney aiming to build a long-term practice in corporate law within a prestigious and collegial firm environment.
What Youll Do
Handle M&A transactions, corporate governance, and commercial agreements
Draft purchase agreements, entity documents, and related transactional materials
Conduct legal due diligence and coordinate closing processes
Work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive deals forward
Stay informed on regulatory and compliance updates impacting corporate transactions
What You Bring
JD from an ABA-accredited law school (20222024 graduate)
13 years of corporate experience at a law firm (M&A, securities, governance)
Bar admission in Florida (or willingness to gain admission promptly)
Strong communication and drafting skills
Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and strong work ethic
Recent grads (2024) must have been employed in legal practice since graduation
