This includes acting as an access navigator, providing check-in duties, and assisting with check out and scheduling follow up appointments.Responsibilities include:Check-in & Check-out Ambulatory Clinic PatientsCall patients to discuss neurosurgery scheduled referrals.Upload documents to patients’ electronic medical recordsCreate patient referral shells via Epic (electronic health record)Fax charge sheets to billingAssist with work compensation records and faxes.Assist in incoming and outgoing calls.Producing pre-op surgical foldersOther duties as assigned.Position Schedule: Monday-Friday, work to be completed between the hours of 7:30am-Clinic Close (typically 5:30pm). Number of hours and schedule to be set upon successful hire. Please note: This position is expected to last for a duration of no longer than one week (08/18/2025 - 08/24/2025).Pay:$12/hourSupervision Received: Supervision received by theClinic Services Coordinator.Required QualificationsGeneral computer skills, including standard office equipment (e.g., computer, printer, scanner, fax machine, multi-line telephone).Knowledge of office software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Skype, Zoom, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDesired QualificationsInterest in health care careersHealth care experience involving direct patient careDemonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with patients/families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members as demonstrated through written and verbal interactionsAbility to multitaskSuccessful candidates will be required to self-disclose any conviction history and will be subject to a criminal background check and credential/education verification.Up to 5 professional references may be requested at a later step in the recruitment process.
