Job Overview: We are building a pool of interested candidates for temporary strike replacement positions. Confirmed applicants will be contacted with an offer to work during the strike period. We need dedicated and customer-oriented individuals who can ensure our store operations continue smoothly and provide our customers with an outstanding shopping experience. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service Warmly greet customers and assist them in locating products. Accurately handle transactions at the cash register. Efficiently bag groceries and assist customers with carry-outs as necessary. Address customer inquiries professionally and escalate issues when required. Stocking & Merchandising Restock shelves and maintain attractive product displays. Label and price items clearly for customer convenience. Rotate stock and remove expired or damaged items regularly. Cleanliness & Safety Ensure cleanliness in aisles, restrooms, and customer areas. Sanitize shopping carts, baskets, and checkout stations frequently. Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols diligently. Departmental Support Assist in various departments such as Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat, or Dairy as assigned. Engage in basic food preparation, packaging, and stocking tasks. Experience and Qualifications: Prior retail or grocery experience is an advantage. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
