About the Role: Coastal Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant for a temporary 34 month assignment. This role will support both our Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria offices based on the weekly schedule. We're looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient health histories and medical records
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment
• Prepare and set up instruments, equipment, and operatories
• Prepare patients for procedures in a timely manner
• Assist the doctor during oral surgery procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and Dental Board regulations
• Work closely with both front and back office teams to keep the schedule running smoothly

Requirements:

• Oral surgery or dental assisting experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be comfortable traveling between both locations

Additional Information: This is a temporary position (34 months) with a consistent full schedule of 3640 hours per week. Benefits are not included for this temporary assignment.
