Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights):

Description: Stepdown RNs provide care to patients who are stable but require close monitoring and frequent assessments, typically transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units. They manage moderate acuity patients, administer medications, and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs. Nurses in this role collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills are essential. This unit cares for STEMI/NSTEMI, CP rule out, CHF, Noninvasive Ventilation, Cardiothoracic surgery after ICU, antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise, etc.
