Job Purpose:
Were seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team! In this role, youll be responsible for producing clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation related to technical systems and processes. A major focus will be managing and completing security questionnaires for our clients by gathering and validating information across departments. You'll also help streamline documentation processes by developing templates and standardized content for future use.
What you will do:
- Manage and complete client security questionnaires by collaborating with internal teams to gather detailed responses.
- Develop templates and standardized responses for frequently asked questions.
- Create technical documentation such as user guides, process manuals, and FAQs.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to translate complex information into easy-to-understand content.
- Edit, proofread, and ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with company standards.
- Update and maintain existing documentation to reflect changes in systems or processes.
- Conduct in-depth research to support technical and compliance-related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with best practices in technical writing and security documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of project.
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow through on tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, Ardent, with an applicable sense of urgency.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimum supervision.
- Ability to build relationships with leadership team/department heads, in order to more successfully and efficiently complete and prioritize Pricing Actuary/ Underwriter related tasks under deadline.
- Ability to maintain in-depth working knowledge of LegalEASEs systems and processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- College Degree Required
- 2-4 years of related experience preferably with RFP
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy while working in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Creative, with attention to detail, sales savvy and marketing knowledge a plus
