DentalEZ is seeking a Technical Service Representative-Product Support to join our team. This position can be located at either our Manufacturing Plant in Bay Minette, AL or in our customer service office in Spearfish SD.

This position is focused on our Utility products including air compressors, and vacuum pumps. Our Technical Service Representatives are responsible for providing technical support to dealer service technicians, dental practitioners, DentalEZ Sales colleagues and internal associates via phone, email, Video calls and chat.

Job responsibilities: The Technical Service Representative spends the majority of their time in an office setting providing technical assistance to customers over the telephone. Field requests from customers for product support. e. installation instruction, troubleshooting, part number information, product configurations, compatibility via an automated call distribution system (call center) and other digital media. Train dealer technicians, sales reps and internal associates. Document customer interaction details electronically in database. Manage stakeholder communication from initiation through resolution. This may include partnering with internal departments to acquire information, assign action items, communicate lessons learned and incorporate preventative actions in the future. Initiate Quality Alerts and participate in problem resolution. Occasional travel may be required to provide on-site product support or training. Serve as customer advocate. Represent the department in meetings, projects and working groups. Compile product history, call history and other information as requested. Maintain accurate product information in Technical Support files. Implement ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) for the department. Support the order fulfillment/return processes as needed. Prompt regular attendance is required.

Technical Services affords you the opportunity to resolve a large majority of our customers concerns through telephone interaction and online exchanges. Having a deep understanding of our product lines is obtained through an immersive on-the-job training program. Prior to that, here are the educational and professional skills that ensure you are successful in this role. 2 year degree in biomedical, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience. Training and experience should include training in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and plumbing disciplines along with the use of complicated schematics. 3 years' experience in troubleshooting, repair, maintenance of equipment with mechanical characteristics similar to dental equipment, such as medical devices, medical capital equipment or other medical grade equipment containing pumps, motors and electronics. Experience providing excellent telephone and/or field product support. 2 years of experience conducting training in small groups. Ability to effectively troubleshoot dental equipment with customers and others over the phone and through other digital communication modes to determine cause and resolution. Public (small group) speaking.
