In this high-impact role, you will lead full-cycle recruiting for CDL Drivers, Dispatchers, Operations Supervisors, and Helpers. This is a field-based position requiring on-site presence, community engagement, and close collaboration with operations teams to meet hiring goals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities

Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity. Manage full-cycle recruitment for frontline roles (Drivers, Dispatchers, Helpers, Supervisors)

Partner with operations to forecast hiring needs and meet headcount goals

Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach

Represent GFL at local job fairs, schools, workforce centers, and hiring events

Coordinate interviews, offers, background checks, and onboarding steps

Maintain applicant tracking through our ATS (Workday)

Ensure compliance with DOT, CDL, and local hiring regulations

Provide weekly recruiting metrics and status updates to leadership

What You Bring 2-4 years of recruiting experience (high-volume, field, or frontline hiring preferred)

Strong sourcing and interviewing skills

Familiarity with DOT/CDL driver recruitment is a plus

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable traveling locally within Orange County (valid driver’s license required)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred
