Hoffmann Aviation Services is a leading provider of geospatial data and mapping services, and our talented pilots lead the effort to acquire imagery and data.
We currently have a unique Aerial Survey position available with multiple roles.
The role of the Survey Pilot II/A&P is to safely fly our Cessna 206, 208, and 414 aircraft into position over specified project areas. As a current A&P mechanic, duties also include assisting with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Hoffmann Aviation Services is located at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport (KSUS) in Chesterfield, Missouri; however, this position does not require relocation.
The flight rotation schedule is 15 consecutive days on rotation (out-of-town) and 13 days off and does require working some holidays. The schedule is pre-determined annually for long-term planning purposes. During the rotation, you will fly in various locations throughout most of the continental U.S. The starting salary for this position is $67,000 annually PLUS $7,500 annual "stay" bonus (prorated the first year based on months employed).
Qualifications:
Required:
Commercial Pilot certificate, multi-engine and instrument rating.
Current A&P Certificate
500 hours total time.
350 PIC
50 Multi
50 Instrument
Current 1st or 2nd class medical, passport and driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug tests.
Must have a personal credit card with minimum of $3,000 available credit. All expenses are reimbursed weekly (commercial flight, hotel, rental car and meals).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and experience using computers and managing files, including data uploads.
Cell phone with application and texting capabilities.
Acceptable DOT initial, random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug tests
Team player committed to doing high quality work.
Must be able to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Prior experience as a Survey Pilot
