Inpatient Care Center/Scattered Bed Team

Unit Coordinator Position Summary:

The Unit Coordinator functions in a supportive role to the HICC team, Unit Secretary, Clinical Manager and Inpatient Services Director. The Unit Coordinator performs clerical, reception, and coordination of tasks to facilitate smooth functioning of the Inpatient Unit. Receives and directs visitors on the Inpatient Unit and communicates in a professional and positive manner with patients, family, team members, hospital staff and physicians.

Unit Coordinator Position Qualifications:

High school graduate required. Knowledge of medical terminology required. CNA certification in Kentucky preferred. 2-3 years of Unit Secretary experience required. Computer usage skills, including experience with Windows-based operating system required. Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette required.
