Utility Clerk

As a Utility Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient packing and management of aerospace components and materials in alignment with company and customer specifications. Your role will involve handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform packing of aerospace components and materials according to specifications.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspection, documentation, and labeling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock organization.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all tasks.
• Communicate effectively with day shift teams to ensure continuity and accurate handoffs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory role preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
