General Summary of Position

The incumbent in this position will support, maintain, and distribute inventory of medical supplies and equipment to nursing units and other designated areas. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Georgetown University Hospital's policies, procedures, and standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Support and maintain accurate product needs and inventories, replenishing supplies based on established par levels.
Maintain Par Locations, ensuring labels are accurate and up-to-date, and identifying demand changes.
Recognize supply needs changes, communicate these to the supervisor, and support necessary adjustments.
Process supply requests not automated via the Order Entry System, including open shelf par carts and supplemental supplies based on unit needs.
Deliver medical equipment and supplies to and from designated areas.
Conduct routine physical inventories to ensure accurate data in the inventory systems.
Collaborate with the Storeroom Staff on inventory needs, data entry, and storeroom maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions, verify order accuracy, and report discrepancies.
Clean, maintain, and deliver medical equipment and storage areas following established procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment across all assigned areas.

Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the scope of the position.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to adapt to a healthcare environment and communicate effectively.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
Basic mathematical skills and ability to read.
Basic computer skills preferred.
The position has a hiring range of $20.15 - $20.17.
