Structural Engineer, PE - Building Design / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day client interactions and project communications.
- Provide technically sound and cost-effective solutions to clients.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and team resources.
- Make timely, informed decisions even with limited information.
- Expand client base and actively pursue new opportunities in the Orlando market.
- Support and participate in business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with a small, focused team on unique and challenging structural projects.
- Directly impact strategic goals and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in structural building design.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
- Experience with Revit and industry-standard software such as RAM, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, and Microsoft Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and structural material standards.
- Experience in project and client management strongly preferred.
- Membership in professional engineering societies is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of building design, particularly detailing of structural steel, concrete, masonry, and related systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply jurisdiction-specific codes to projects.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic setting and takes initiative to lead and grow.
