As a Substitute Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in assisting the classroom teacher to support students, especially those with special needs, in achieving their full potential. Your responsibilities will vary, providing you with a dynamic and engaging work environment. Key Responsibilities: Offer instructional reinforcement to individual students or small groups to enhance learning Assist the teacher in maintaining classroom management and overseeing students Help prepare materials and set up equipment for classroom activities Supervise students during lunch, recreation, field trips, and before/after school programs Attend to students' physical, academic, and emotional needs Support students with special needs by adhering to their IEPs/504 Plans Complete additional duties as assigned by the classroom teacher and school administration Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing) Compensation: $13-$22/hr
