What to Expect We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Network Controller Platform. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design, develop, and deploy software that ensures the reliability, availability, and scalability of our network operations. You will have a strong focus on network infrastructure and provisioning and will work closely with our Network Engineering team to ensure seamless integration of our software with our network systems.
What You'll Do Contribute to the system and network design for our networking infra, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices
Develop and implement control paths for relevant components, including network and infrastructure elements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy infrastructure software that meets the needs of our network operations
Develop and maintain code for infrastructure software, focusing on a variety of areas including: scheduling, scalability, configuration, storage, fault tolerance, storage management & monitoring, distributed systems, and network provisioning & automation
Participate in the testing and validation of infrastructure software to ensure it meets quality and reliability standards
Collaborate with other Engineers to identify and resolve technical issues, and to continuously improve the design and operation of our datacenter infrastructure
What You'll Bring 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on infrastructure software, network and datacenter operations
Demonstrated experience implementing large-scale projects in Go, Java, C++, Rust, or similar
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, Ethernet, VLANs, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/ISIS), and topology concepts
Comfortable with all aspects of rigorous software development and maintenance (version control, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, etc.)
Strong understanding of system design principles, including scalability, availability, and reliability
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to lead technical initiatives from conception to production

Expected Compensation $168,000 - $360,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
