We are seeking a Staff Java Developer to lead a team of 2-7 nearshore engineers. This backend focused team is responsible for applications to enhance the customer experience for their professional customer specifically facilitating the purchase on credit. This role will be instrumental in driving new development to the applications and enhancements to existing features. This is application is the largest initiative for the organization, so this is a high visibility initiative.

$55/hr to $62/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

10+ years of backend development experience using Java for enterprise applications.

Strong experience with Spring Boot for enterprise-level development.

Proven ability to build and maintain RESTful APIs.

Hands-on experience deploying applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Familiarity with Jira for managing user stories and agile workflows.

Experience using GitHub for version control and testing.

Prior experience leading teams across onshore and nearshore environments.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Previous ecommerce experience
