Position: Sr. Product Manager, Restaurant Technology Location: Atlanta, GA Job Id: 374 # of Openings: 1 SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Tropical Smoothie Cafe is evolving to ensure we meet the changing needs of today's consumers. Behaviors have shifted, and consumers are seeking convenient ways to interact with brands, manage their loyalty accounts, place orders, and more. This has led to more complex solutions and new technologies that our Franchisees must learn to operate such as Kiosks, Digital Menu Boards, Order Confirmation Screens/Notifications, Back of House platforms, Employee Communication tools and more. We’re driving a ‘digital first’ mindset at Tropical Smoothie Cafe and keeping the customer at the center of everything we do. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager, Restaurant Technology to lead and oversee the product strategy and lifecycle for operational platforms and technologies that drive efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall business performance. This role will bridge the gap between technology, operations, and franchise partners, supporting our cafes in delivering the best possible experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach with strong experience in restaurant technology platforms and product management. You must be skilled in balancing stakeholder needs in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, but in particular with Operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and delivery execution of our cafe technology products, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest, crew member and franchisee experience. Oversee pilot programs and develop go to market strategy to successfully launch new solutions into a cafe with minimal disruption. Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, ROI, user needs, and alignment with company objectives, focusing on operational efficiency and improve experiences. Partner with solution providers, engineering and design teams to define user stories, and implement solutions on time. Strong vendor management to influence and prioritize product roadmaps, ensure on time project delivery and adhere to SLA’s. Analyze usage data, operational performance metrics, and feedback to make informed decisions on product enhancements. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE In-depth and strong knowledge of restaurant technology and operations in a franchise business. Working knowledge of product development processes. Ability to prioritize effectively. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions based on data and insights. Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and drive cross-functional alignment. Less than 25% travel. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in management information systems, related field or work experience. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, KNOWLEDGE, OR LICENSES Must be able to work in a hybrid work environment. Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations. Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must. Exceptional organization and time management skills.
