Job description: Role Title : Sr. Oracle Database Administrator Required Skills " • 7+ years of experience in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and OLTP/OLAP environments. • 5+ years of experience in Oracle database on Linux Os. • 5+ years of experience in Oracle 19c or above version databases • 5+ years of experience in SQL, PL/SQL code review and performance tuning • 3+ years of experience in Oracle RAC, Multi-tenant database architectures. • 3+ years of experience in Database health monitoring and tweaking as required • 2+ years of experience in Data Modeling (Erwin), Designing like developing ERD for LDM, PDM • 2+ years of experience in Azure Cloud architecture • Extensive experience in setup, configure and maintain Database security controls like TDE, Data Masking, Data Redaction. • Extensive experience in process improvement identification, automation. • Experience in Oracle database upgrade and database migration from multiple platform and versions. • Responsibilities include working with Development team and Client DBAs for DR setup, rehearsal and validation support. • Experience in Define and follow the standardization process. • Experience in working as Developer or Jr. DBA with a large group of application architects and developers. • Experience in working with Client technical team for database related issues triage and collaborate with Oracle support by creating ticket, follow up • Knowledge of named PL/SQL objects like stored procedure, packages, function and database trigger • Good understanding and hands-on with Oracle utilities and tools • Hands-on experience in shell scripting • Strong communication skills, both written and oral " Preferred Skills "• Good understanding on other leading RDBMS like SQL Server, PostgreSQL • Good knowledge in OLTP, System Life Cycle Methodologies (SLDC) in Database Driven Application Development. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficient in gathering requirements and developing project plans • Demonstrated technical writing abilities • bility to work independently once direction is provided • bility to monitor progress and be involved with multiple concurrent initiatives " Responsibilities: • Supporting Oracle database custom application development, deployment and implementation support of RDBMS. Resource should have an extensive experience in Development support administration for custom applications. This is not a core/infra DBA role but will have partial support requirement.
