Senior Lease Accountant - Lease Accounting / ASC 842 / Excel
Location: Remote (Training in Atlanta for the first week) Pay: Up to $100,000 base + 5% quarterly bonus Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

They are looking for you, an experienced Senior Lease Accountant with a strong background in lease accounting, ASC 842 compliance, and financial reporting. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a fast-growing company, offering significant career advancement potential.
What You Get to Do: • Manage and analyze 500+ operational leases , ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASC 842 . • Prepare and review lease-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and cash proofing . • Maintain lease data in lease management software (Visual Lease preferred) and collaborate with finance teams. • Assist in preparing financial reports and disclosures for audit and compliance purposes . • Identify and resolve discrepancies in lease payments, working with third-party vendors .
What You Need to Succeed: • 3+ years of lease accounting experience (high-volume lease environment preferred). • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA and public accounting experience a plus). • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, Text-to-Columns). • Experience with ASC 842 lease guidance and financial reporting . • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of Visual Lease or similar lease management software preferred.
