This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC), SLPs with school experience, or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) passionate about making a positive impact. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students, collaborating with educators and families to help students succeed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an SLPA program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs preferred
- Previous experience working in a school environment
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering student growth and achievement
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support comprehensive student care
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of services provided
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input for educational planning
