Your Role as a Speech Therapist As a Speech Therapist, your rewarding journey entails: Evaluating, assessing, and designing personalized treatment plans for patients needing speech and language rehabilitation. Identifying challenges and adjusting speech therapy interventions as necessary. Documenting and tracking patient performance, progress, and responses to treatments. Celebrating patients' successes and progress together. Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should have: Current licensure or certification in accordance with state regulations. Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC). CPR certification, required within 30 days of hiring. A Master’s degree is preferred; a Bachelor's degree with relevant field experience is also acceptable.
