Role Description: Create a supportive and structured classroom environment. Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs. Maintain accurate records of students' progress and IEP goals. Conduct assessments to determine students' educational needs and progress. Modify curriculum and instruction methods to accommodate students' varying needs. Provide emotional and social support to students, promoting a positive learning experience. Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support students' learning.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, along with a valid Texas teaching certification in Special Education. Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred. Successful applicants must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills to effectively support students and work alongside colleagues and families.
