JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer III LOCATION: San Francisco, CA DURATION: 6 months PAY RANGE: $63 - $73/hr.

Task Breakdown and Workflow Design, develop, implement, test, document, and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using multi-threaded programming, distributed programming in Java, React Native, SQL, Object-Oriented design and design patterns, Mobile development (iOS/Android). ssist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements, and translate requirements into technical specifications for robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. Own delivery of entire piece of system or application, and serve as technical lead on complex projects using best practice engineering standards. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. Requires availability for 24x7 on-call support rotation. Once every 6 weeks, Tuesday to Tuesday.

Requirements: Years of Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience. 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design. 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.

Must-Have Hard Skills: WS technologies expertise. Java (or equivalent object-oriented programming language) SQL/NoSQL databases

Nice to Haves: Experience with Machine Learning and Natural Language Understanding. Experience with iterative, agile development methodologies (including Scrum) Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts.

Degree/Certification Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty as equivalent to a master's degree.
